Engineer's logbook : of A.K. Johnson aboard the S.S. President Wilson, 1936 March 2-June 21.

In the front of the log is a list of all crew members, with dates of leaving and dates of joining, and capacity of each; and twenty-two printed regulations, "Standing Orders for Engineers," from the Division of Operations, U.S. Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation. The log includes knots per hour, temperature readings, coal and fuel oil, and weather conditions. Each page is signed at the bottom by A.K. Johnson, chief engineer. On the front cover is Voyage 46. Some ports listed include Alexandria (Egypt), Bombay (India), Havana (Cuba), Hong Kong, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Manila (Philippines), Marseille (France), Naples (Italy), New York, San Francisco, and Shanghai (China).
